W1 Table was a collaborative engagement between designer and client who wanted a heirloom piece. The table would serve as a radial hub for connection for generations to come. Fun and off-kiltered playfulness in both form and placement of its legs offsets any notions of rigid design rules or hierarchal standards. We really wanted to push what was possible in terms of both design feasibility and production processes — which ultimately resulted in us designing manufacturing specific tooling to be able to process the legs.
